Founded in memory of Christopher C. Avent Jr., who passed away from asthma at age 10, The Amris Foundation helps children and families affected by asthma through awareness, education, advocacy, resource connections, and direct support.
Our first program, the Let Them Breathe Initiative, works with families and community partners to remove barriers to managing childhood asthma safely at home.
Support may include asthma equipment, educational resources, medication-access assistance, and other services based on each family’s needs.
